Robau

Male human Starfleet captain of the U.S.S. Kelvin who just happens to be on hand for the emergence of Nero’s huge vessel from a temporal vortex in 2233, or 154 years into the past: intelligent, curious yet cautious—a typical Starfleet commander.  In the new timeline that incident created, Robau was faced with obvious defeat in the standoff unless he met with Nero, who was simply looking for information about Spock and the timeship Nero had been chasing.  However, Nero killed Robau in rage when he realized the time-travel loop he’d just undergone.
