TNG Coins Now Available

The latest set of limited-edition Star Trek coins has been released by the Perth Mint of Australia, and it features Captain Jean-Luc Picard and the U.S.S. Enterprise-D. The 1 oz silver proof coins, which are made of 99.9% pure silver, can be purchased separately or as a pair; the set will be limited to 1,500 while the individual coins will be limited to 5,000 each.

The Picard coin features the captain, pictured in color, set against a delta shield and an image of the Enterprise. The Enterprise coin depicts the legendary ship set against color imagery of space and planets. Both coins are Tuvalu legal tender and come with special packaging (for the individual coins and the set).
