They will all converge on Friday, August 12, when the Red Sox celebrate Star Trek's 50th anniversary by inviting William Shatner to beam down to Fenway Park and throw out the ceremonial first pitch before the Sox battle the Arizona Diamondbacks at 7:10 p.m. Fans who purchase tickets through a special offer will receive a limited-edition Captain Kirk Red Sox figurine.
