Paramount Pictures has just released a new Star Trek Into Darkness promotional piece entitled “Character Profile – Captain Kirk.” In the one-minute video, viewers will see glimpses of Kirk in action from the film and behind-the-scenes footage of Chris Pine shooting Kirk scenes, as well as hear Pine and director J.J. Abrams share their thoughts on Kirk’s growth from Star Trek (2009) to Star Trek Into Darkness. Among Pine’s observations: “I think it’s all a matter of him learning how to become a more fully realized leader.”
