Greetings, weary travelers! We know that space travel, even in the height of luxury, can be a long and exhausting process. But we have excellent news – you have arrived! The shores of Risa are open to you, and this planet is designed to cater to your every whim and your every possible need. And there’s even better news – you’ve arrived just in time to catch the end of the annual Lohlunat Festival! This is our most special time of year on Risa, and as such, we’ve prepared this little guide to show you the best ways you can spend your time on our little planet.
TAKE IN THE SUN
Risa is a perfect, temperate climate all year round. If you’re tired from battles fought either in the boardroom or on the bridge of a starship, there is no better place to relax than the Pleasure Planet itself. Order a round of jippers, and lean back and relax at the desired level of comfort for your species. If we do not have your perfect climate set up, you need only ask, and a host will gladly make any adjustments needed.
RENT A FLOATER
The Risian Floaters are one of our key tourist attractions, and I’m sure you’ll see why. Take in our beautiful landscapes from above, flying higher even than our gorgeous tropical birds. Floaters are available to rent or purchase at one of our beachside kiosks, and you can even use them as part of organized races around our many islands!
CRUISE ON A POWERBOARD
Speaking of organized races, have you heard of our powerboard races around the island? You can purchase one of many different styles of powerboard from our vendors, and use them to cruise around the island, taking in the sights and engaging in our regular races. There are special rewards for guests who manage to come in first!
HUNT A HORGA’HN
The Horga’hn is a deeply sacred object to our people, and a symbol of your desire to seek jamaharon. And while these objects are, of course, available for purchase around the island, we have also created a special scavenger hunt just for you, our guests. You’ll fly around the island, hunting down the well-hidden statues, and earning special rewards that you can spend in our many shops on new clothing, pets and more!
DANCE THE DAY AWAY
What would vacation be without the ability to cut loose? On Risa, we don’t just have dancing every night, we have it every day, and every hour. Come to one of our many free floating dance floors to show off the moves of your people, be they traditional or otherwise. Our experienced and friendly dance hosts will guide you through this process and get your blood – or whatever your species has flowing internally – pumping!
We hope you’ll join us on Risa before August 15th, when this Lohlunat Festival must sadly come to an end. Participate in the right activities, and you may even walk away with a brand new Risian corvette. When we say it’s the fastest ship in the galaxy, that’s no mere boast.
