Onetime rival and then buddy of Captain Archer back in their days among the original quartet of pilots in Starfleet’s NX/Warp 5 test vehicle program. Robinson survived a brazen unauthorized test flight of the NX-Alpha craft to boost the program, only to be killed years later while simply mountain climbing in 2153.
