Zoe Saldana knows what she'll be doing for the next year or so. The actress is currently reprising her role as Uhura in J.J. Abrams' Star Trek sequel and has several firm and potential follow-up projects in her sights. Once she wraps Trek, she'll shoot Blood Ties, with Guillaume Canet directing her, Clive Owen, Billy Crudup, James Caan, Mila Kunis and Marion Cotillard. She's also in negotiations to join Christian Bale, Robert Duvall and Casey Affleck in Out of the Furnace. And it was just announced that Paramount Pictures has purchased a spec script entitled Swindle as a starring vehicle for Saldana and Megan Fox, who would also team up as producers alongside Michael De Luca on the action-heist film. In addition to all of those projects, just before starting work on the Star Trek sequel, Saldana completed the film The Words, in which she stars with Bradley Cooper, Jeremy Irons, Olivia Wilde and Dennis Quaid, as well as Star Trek: Voyager guest star Michael McKean.
