Star Trek Las Vegas is set for August 3-7 at the Rio Suites Hotel, and tickets for the mega-event are selling out quickly, with hosts Creation Entertainment reporting that they're breaking records daily. More than half the tickets for the weekend have been sold and several of the higher-level tier ticket packages are sold out. Still available are:
Copper Weekend Packages: Includes reserved seats for all five days, plus other benefits, including the same seating for the Saturday Night Gala featuring the Nevada Pops.
General Admission Packages: Admission and general seating in the main theater all five days.
Creation is also well on its way to reaching its annual goal of 100-plus Trek celebrities with 40 announced so far:
Fans can also expect five days of activities, including panels (many sponsored by StarTrek.com), games, parties, photo ops, karaoke, autographs, interactive displays, costume and video contests, auctions and more. And Creation just announced that Michael Westmore, Trek's longtime, Emmy Award-winning makeup guru, will create a Borg live on stage during his appearance on Saturday, August 6.
