STO's Agents of Yesterday Debuting This Summer

Perfect World Entertainment and Cryptic World have revealed Star Trek Online: Agents of Yesterday, the third expansion for the Star Trek-themed free-to-play MMORPG. The game, which will be available this summer and is timed to celebrate Trek's landmark 50th anniversary, will allow players to create a new captain in the Star Trek: The Original Series timeline, where they will take command of an era-appropriate ship and begin their own adventures.

Agents of Yesterday will feature two familiar TOS characters and five new ships, as well as the U.S.S. Enterprise. Locations taken directly from the series include Taurus VII and Edren, better known as the Gorn Rock Planet. Heightening the excitement and TOS connection, TOS legend Walter Koenig and Chris Doohan, son of James Doohan, will bring both Chekov and Montgomery "Scotty" Scott to life in the game.
