IDW Publishing and DC Comics will reach the halfway point of their unique partnership tomorrow when the Star Trek/Legion of Super-Heroes crossover, Star Trek/Legion of Super-Heroes #3, arrives in comic book stores. Once again, Star Trek's legendary Enterprise crew interacts with such DC favorites as Saturn Girl, Cosmic Boy, Chameleon Boy, Lightning Lad, Brainiac 5 and Shadow Lass.

The Star Trek/Legion of Super-Heroes adventure finds Kirk, Spock and crew transporting down to a planet, only to discover that they’re not only not on the right planet, but in an entirely different universe. Meanwhile, a group of “Great Darkness Saga” Legionnaires in a time sphere is hurled into the 23rd century, though it’s not what they’re expecting, either. In issue #3, the two teams come to the realization that they must join forces, but can either team determine what's gone wrong in time? Adversaries include the Borg, Klingons and Khunds, as well as the Imperial Planets of Terra.

Star Trek/Legion of Superheroes #3 has been written by Chris Roberson and features art by Jeffrey Moy and Philip Moy. Two regular covers will be shipped in a 4-to-1 ratio (4 by Phil Jimenez and 1 by Mike Grell). The title will run 32 pages, cost $3.99 and be available at comic retail stores. For additional details, contact your local comic book retailer or visit www.comicshoplocator.com to find a store near you. And keep an eye on StarTrek.com for the latest updates about Star Trek/Legion of Superheroes.
