The ambitious Star Trek/Legion of Super-Heroes crossover continues with Star Trek/Legion of Super-Heroes #2, the second of six adventures that teams up Star Trek's legendary Enterprise crew with such DC Comics favorites as Cosmic Boy, Saturn Girl, Lightning Lad, Brainiac 5, Chameleon Boy and Shadow Lass. IDW Publishing will release Star Trek/Legion of Super-Heroes #2 on November 9.
The Star Trek/Legion of Super-Heroes tale finds Kirk, Spock and crew transporting down to a planet, only to discover that they’re not only not on the right planet, but rather that they’re in an entirely different universe. At the same time, a band of “Great Darkness Saga” Legionnaires in a time sphere is thrust into the 23rd century, though it’s not what they’re expecting, either. Soon enough, the teams join forces, but can either team uncover what's gone wrong in time? Adversaries include the Klingons, Khunds and Borg, plus the Imperial Planets of Terra.
Star Trek/Legion of Superheroes #2 has been written by Chris Roberson and features art by Jeffrey Moy and Philip Moy. Two regular covers will be shipped in a 4-to-1 ratio (4 by Phil Jimenez and 1 by Steve Lightle). The title will run 32 pages, cost $3.99 and be available at comic retail stores.
