Star Trek Into Darkness beamed up an Academy Award nomination this morning. The quartet of Roger Guyett, Patrick Tubach, Ben Grossman and Burt Dalton is in the running for a statuette in the Visual Effects category against Gravity, The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug, Iron Man 3 and The Lone Ranger. The winner will be announced on Oscar night, March 2.
