The results of the latest StarTrek.com poll are in, and the winner is… The Next Generation. For those wondering, the question was: Which would make a great new animated series? – and the options were TOS, TNG, DS9, Voyager and Enterprise. Thousands of fans replied, and TNG snagged 31 percent of the vote, while DS9, Voyager and Enterprise fought a tight battle for second with, respectively, 21, 18 and 16 percent of the vote. TOS brought up the rear with just 9 percent, probably because it was already the subject of an animated series.
