StarTrek.com is saddened to report the passing of Edward "Eddy" Donno, a well-respected stuntman, stunt coordinator and stunt actor who passed away in his sleep on October 19 at the age of 79. Donno's Star Trek credits included The Wrath of Khan, The Search for Spock and First Contact, as well as an episode of Enterprise. He most memorably played the murdered chef aboard Regula 1, whose arm Dr. McCoy bumped into in The Wrath of Khan.
Beyond Star Trek, Donno's lengthy resume inlcuded The Green Berets, The Gumball Rally, The Blues Brothers (he played the SWAT Team Commander), Scarface, The Untouchables, Die Hard 2, 24, The 40-Year-Old Virgin, Supernatural and Californication. Donno's son, Tommy, is also a stuntman, and worked on Star Trek: First Contact.
