Zachary Quinto, Star Trek's current Spock, just locked in his next project. He'll co-star in Snowden, writer-director Oliver Stone's biopic about Eric Snowden. Joseph Gordon-Levitt will play the controversial Snowden, and, in addition to Quinto, he'll be joined by Melissa Leo, Shailene Woodley, Tom Wilkinson, Joely Richardson, Rhys Ifans and Timothy Olyphant. The film has started production in Munich and will be released in December.

Quinto has been busy lately. The actor recently appeared on Late Night with Seth Myers and he's currently playing the infamous slapper on NBC's limited series, The Slap

Quinto has also wrapped production on the films I Am Michael, co-starring Emma Roberts and James Franco, and Hitman: Agent 47, in which he plays John Smith opposite Rupert Friend as Agent 47. And he'll guest star in two upcoming episodes of the HBO show, Girls.
