It'll be the Enterprise crew vs. renegade Orions and appearances by the Borg, Gary Seven and killer androids when IDW Publishing releases their latest Star Trek comic books on Wednesday. And has details and exclusive preview pages.

More specifically, Star Trek #54—Five-Year Mission: Reunion Part II, by Mike Johnson, with art and cover by Tony Shasteen, finds galactic peace hanging in the balance as the current denizens of the Enterprise take on a renegade Orion faction... and face betrayal from within. Reunion Part II costs $3.99 and spans 32 pages.
Next, there's Star Trek: New Visions, Vol. 3, written by photomanipulator John Byrne, who also assumes art and cover duties. Vol. 3 gathers together issues #6-8, namely “Resistance,” featuring The Borg; “1971,” in which Captain Kirk is sent 200 years into the past to meet Gary Seven; and “The Survival Equation,” with killer androids showing up by the dozen. Vol. 3 costs $19.99 and runs 136 pages.
