Sci-Fest L.A. Radio Theater will stage a fundraiser on Monday, Janauary 11 that will feature as its highlight a production of Frankenstein -- actually a reproduction of the 1944 radio version -- with a number of sci-fi and Star Trek stars performing. Set to participate are Brent Spiner, Gates McFadden, Linda Park, Alfred Molina and Philip Anthony Rodriguez. Additionally, the legendary Roger Corman will be on hand for a special presentation during which he'll receive Sci-Fest L.A.'s first-ever Icon Award.

Held annually in Los Angeles, Sci-Fest presents a month of one-act sci-fi plays written by and starring established sci-fi talent. Past productions have included actors from Star Trek, The Walking Dead, The X-Files, Aliens, Heroes, Supernatural, Avatar, Alien, Warehouse 13, Fringe, Babylon 5 and more. Philip Anthony Rodriguez, who'll also appear in Frankenstein, co-stars on Grimm.

The fundraiser will be held January 11 at 8 p.m. at the Colony Theatre Company in Burbank, California. Tickets/donations start at $55. Attendees can also purchase tickets for a pre-show reception and silent auction. And for those who really want to get in on the action, three walk-on roles are up for auction. As of today, The Constable and The Minister are both at $500, while no one has bid yet to play Peasant Woman.
