Scotty and Picard are back in action, thanks to IDW Publishing. On Wednesday, IDW will release Star Trek #14 and on November 7, IDW will release Star Trek: The Next Generation: Hive #2. In Star Trek #14, which features the Star Trek (2009) Enterprise crew, Scotty and his alien sidekick Keenser meet for the very first time. The story, which continues the countdown to Star Trek Into Darkness, has been overseen by Roberto Orci and written by Mike Johnson, with Stephen Molnar handling the art and Tim Bradstreet providing the cover. Variants will include a photo cover and a Bradstreet sketch cover.
Meanwhile, in Hive #2, Picard and his Enterprise crew battle a deadly enemy that threatens the entire galaxy. But they’re not in this fight alone. Their unlikely ally? The Borg. Hive #2 is penned by Brannon Braga, Terry Matalas and Travis Fickett, with Joe Corroney on both art and cover duty.
