IDW Publishing is definitely on the right Trek. Eager to please fans of all stripes, they’ve just revealed details about their February 2012 Star Trek titles, and we’re here to pass those details on to you. There’s Star Trek #6, Star Trek Classics, Vol. 2: Enemy Unseen and Star Trek/Legion of Super-Heroes #5. Star Trek #6 will close out the Operation: Annihilate! reimagining, as Kirk and his estranged brother join forces to forestall the extinction of a colony. Written by Mike Johnson, with art by Joe Corroney and a cover by Tim Bradstreet, Star Trek #6 will run 32 pages and cost $3.99. Variant covers will include a photo cover and a Bradstreet sketch cover.


Meanwhile, Star Trek Classics, Vol. 2: Enemy Unseen is a reprint book that collects the Captain Picard/TNG-centric stories “Perchance to Dream,” “Embrace the Wolf” and “The Killing Shadows.” Writers include Keith R.A. DeCandido, Christopher Golden, Tom Sniegoski and Scott Ciencin. The art is by Peter Pachoumis, Scott Benefiel, Dave Hoover and Andrew Currie, and Drew Stuzan handled the cover. Enemy Unseen runs a grand total of 224 pages and will cost $21.99.

And, last but not least, Star Trek/Legion of Super-Heroes #5 spins the fifth of six stories in the popular IDW/DC crossover, as the most unlikely of allies race the clock to return to their respective timelines and set things right. The story is by Chris Roberson, with art by Jeffrey and Philip Moy, and covers by Phil Jimenez and Mike Allred. Fans should be on the lookout for a variant cover by Mario Alberti. Star Trek/Legion of Super-Heroes #5 will run 32 pages and cost $3.99.
