Star Trek: The Next Generation fans, we ask you this: Where will you be May 31-June 2, 2013? If you don’t have plans yet, you just might after reading this. That weekend, Creation Entertainment will beam into Chicago, Illinois, for an official Star Trek convention celebrating the 25th anniversary of TNG with Sir Patrick Stewart, Jonathan Frakes, Brent Spiner, Marina Sirtis, Michael Dorn, Gates McFadden and LeVar Burton all in attendance. “We will be doing a special ‘live full cast reunion’ on the Saturday night of the event,” said Gary Berman, co-COO of Creation Entertainment. “We’ll also have the cast members doing individual and duo appearances during the weekend.”

As the saying goes, though… “And that’s not all!” Creation will also celebrate the 20th anniversary of Deep Space Nine during its Chicago event. Among those lined up for the weekend are Avery Brooks, Nana Visitor, Rene Auberjonois, Armin Shimerman, Max Grodenchik, Aron Eisenberg, Casey Biggs, Jeffrey Combs and Vaughn Armstrong. Then, showing Voyager a bit of love, too, Creation will welcome Ethan Phillips.

All of the actors will appear on stage and be available for autograph and photo opportunities. Further, Creation will also hold its usual array of parties, costume contests, auctions, seminars and more.

“Chicago, from the earliest days of fandom, was always one of the greatest hotbeds of interest in Star Trek,” Berman said. “We’ve done a lot of great shows over the years in Chicago, and it’s great to be able to return to the city after all this time, and to do so with one of the greatest lineups we’ve ever brought to fans in the Midwest. May 2013 can’t come soon enough.”

Creation Entertainment’s Official Star Trek Convention in the Chicago area will be held at the Westin O’Hare in Rosemont. Click HERE for details, and keep an eye on StarTrek.com for additional details about the event as the schedule continues to evolve.
