It's not too late to see George Takei, Star Trek's iconic Sulu, in Allegiance... and it's not too late to do so in style and support a great cause in the process. The Broadway musical, which is inspired by the internment camp experiences of Takei and his family during World War II, will end its run on February 14, but Takei and Omaze have teamed up for a charity fundraising campaign that will win a lucky fan (and a friend) dinner with George and Brad Takei in New York City, VIP seats for Allegiance and a chance to hang with the cast inside the stage door. Oh, and if you're coming in from out of town, it includes flights and hotel for two. Even if you're in New York City, hotel is included. It only costs $10 to enter, and for that you receive 100 chances to win. The funds raised for this campaign will allow kids to see Allegiance via Inspire Change Broadway, a group that provides students access to eye-opening theater productions.
Visit www.omaze.com/nyc between now and Feb. 8 to participate. The winner will be announced on or around Feb. 10.
