John de Lancie, known to Star Trek fans near and far as the mischievous Q, will join Star Trek Timelines developers for a panel at Star Trek Las Vegas next month. De Lancie, who reprised his iconic role in the mobile game, will help panel attendees determine a mission and slate of characters to be added to the game.
"Last year, we were honored to preview Star Trek Timelines at Star Trek Las Vegas," Disruptor Beam Chief Marketing Officer Pete Arden told StarTrek.com. "With the successful launch behind us, we're even more excited to give attendees the opportunity to make their mark on the game with this year's Away Team Panel."
Star Trek Timelines will present two panels at Star Trek Las Vegas. The first, a Q&A with game developers and Disruptor Beam CEO Jon Radoff, will give players a glimpse into the exciting developments on the horizon for the game. The second will feature de Lancie and game developers in an interactive "game-show" format which will determine new game content. Fans attending either panel can enter a raffle for Disruptor Beam gear.
"Our game continues to evolve," Arden said, "and this panel is another example of how players can influence the Star Trek universe in Star Trek Timelines."
