Benedict Cumberbatch has a lot on his plate these days. The British actor has been in New Zealand shooting scenes for the second Hobbit film, in Ibiza for a pal’s wedding and back in the United Kingdom to work on the third season of Sherlock. He also squeezed in time to shoot a video greeting fans at the Sherlock panel at Comic-Con. And, on top of all that, he flew to Japan last week and on Tuesday met the Japanese press corps to promote Star Trek Into Darkness in advance of the Star Trek sequel’s release there next month.
