You know you’ve made it in Hollywood when you’re invited to voice a character on The Simpsons. Well, welcome to the big time, Benedict Cumberbatch, who will do the talking not for one, but for two characters on Sunday’s episode of The Simpsons. In the Valentine’s Day-themed half-hour, entitled “Love Is a Many Splintered Thing,” Homer watches some British movies in an effort to win back the affections of Marge, who’s mad at him for not attending the opening of a bookstore with her. Among the films Homer checks out is Love, Indubitably, a tip of the cap, of course, to Love, Actually. As for Cumberbatch, who plays John Harrison in the upcoming Star Trek Into Darkness, he does the talking for a Hugh Grant-esque British Prime Minister and Severus Snape from Harry Potter.
