Creation Entertainment has just locked in its 100th celebrity guest for the upcoming Official Star Trek Convention in Las Vegas, and StarTrek.com exclusively can reveal that the 100th guest is... Sir Patrick Stewart. Stewart joins an already impressive list that includes William Shatner, George Takei, Joan Collins, Jeri Ryan, Kate Mulgrew, Karl Urban, Jonathan Frakes, Michael Dorn, Marina Sirtis, and Academy Award winner Michael Westmore, all of whom are scheduled to appear at the event, which will be held from August 6-9 at the Rio Suites Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas.
“We are thrilled that Sir Patrick in on board for Vegas," Creation Entertainment's co-CEO Adam Malin told StarTrek.com. "All of his fans are delighted that he is returning to television soon in a new series for STARZ entitled Blunt Talk, that comes from the mind of longtime Star Trek fan Seth MacFarlane and Jonathan Ames. Sir Patrick also serves as a producer on the series and we can’t wait to see him in Vegas and back on TV.”
