Chris Pine used his most recent weekend off from shooting the Star Trek sequel to attend the 3rd Annual Milk & Bookies Story Time Celebration at the Skirball Center in Los Angeles. The program aims to inspire children to give back, using books as its currency.
The actor read “The Man in the Moon” by William Joyce. That book inspired Pine's upcoming film, Rise of the Guardians, from DreamWorks Animation which will open nationwide on November 21, 2012.
Pine will voice the character Jack Frost in the animated tale that also features Alec Baldwin, Hugh Jackman, Isla Fisher and Jude Law in the all-star cast. Check out the performances below!
