Star Trek: The Exhibition is now open in Beijing, at the landmark venue The Place. It's the first station for the Star Trek: The Exhibition China tour and overall the 13th stop for The Exhibition, which was developed by EMS and has attracted more than 5.5 million visitors worldwide so far.

Star Trek: The Exhibition is held by Beijing Weying Technology Ltd., Co. Visitors will enjoy an interactive, museum-style experience of one of the largest collections of authentic Star Trek artifacts and information ever put on display. Included in the Exhibition are the Star Trek: The Original Series bridge, a Timeline wall, the Scorpion fighter from Nemesis, Dr. Crusher’s sick bay and a motion simulator. Fans will also be able to enjoy interactive kiosks and photo opportunities, including one with Kirk’s captain’s chair. The host will also launch a series of side events to celebrate Star Trek’s 50th anniversary together with the exhibition, including lectures, seminars, sci-fi Christmas parties and also such family events as the “Super Talented Kids Competition."
