All aboard the Patrick Stewart bus. We kid you not. Star Trek: The Next Generation's iconic Captain Picard was honored in New York City last week with entry into Gray Line's "Ride of Fame," which honors celebrities from around the world who have made a positive impact on the Big Apple. And so a custom decal feature Stewart's smiling face the front of a Gray Line double-decker tour bus. Stewart himself beamed in for a ribbon-cutting ceremony on December 4 to christen the bus.

"This is an extraordinary honor for me," Stewart, who lives in Park Slope and is currently on Broadway in No Man's Land and Waiting for Godot, told attendees at the ribbon-cutting presentation. "If I had fantasized that one day a double-decker bus in New York would have my name on it, it would have seemed like madness."
