The "Star Trek: First Contact" Special Collector's Edition DVD will be in stores March 15, 2005.
This two-disc set is highly anticipated by fans of the film who, up to now, have been saddled with a single-disc version that was sorely lacking in extras. Although there are no deleted scenes — by virtue of a tight script with little room to breathe — there are plenty of other extras to flesh out the eighth movie in the Trek franchise.
