The new 2005
Star Trek Calendars are in!
The truth is, the calendars have been here for awhile, they've just been standing at the back of the classroom waiting to be picked by our editors. With the season of giving looming on the horizon, what better time than now to start getting those stocking stuffers, and what better gift for your discerning relative, friend or work mate whose name you pulled in the Secret Santa draw than a calendar that brings a little Star Trek into their lives every day.
The 2005 calendar choices aren't as extensive as in recent years; beside the page-a-day desktop variety that has representation from all the Trek shows, Pocket Books is offering wall calendars for the Original Series and Star Trek: Enterprise plus the highly lauded Ships of the Line series displaying unique art created exclusively for it. This year's Ships calendar includes art by Doug Drexler, Daren Dochterman, Sean Scott, Meni, Jay Barton, Rob Bonchune, Koji Kuramura, José Perez, and Dave Morton. Focusing primarily on Starfleet ships, the calendar is a joy to behold as it celebrates what makes Star Trek stories possible: the warp-capable vessels that take us week in and week out to distant parts of the known and unknown galaxy.
