Looking for something a little different for your
Star Trek wardrobe? Or perhaps a little holiday gift for your
Star Trek-loving brother-in-law? If it is a
Star Trek gift you seek for that discerning fan who thinks they have everything, then look no further than the
STARTREK.COM Trading Outpost. Now open for business at CafePress.com, our store features a limited line of
Star Trek shirts, mugs, hats and mousepads that use either a cool retro look, or a futuristic approach that means you can literally wear your fandom on your sleeve!
Our latest set of shirts feature "Kiss Me, I'm a Salt Vampire," "Headin' Out to Eden," "Spock Lives," a choice of either "trekkie" or "trekker" shirts, a "Soong AI" design and a wire frame logo design that has to be seen to be believed. Our design philosophy is that the items available from the the STARTREK.COM Trading Outpost combine some of the fun fashions of the '70s with a Star Trek sensibility. There will be some surprises along the way, so you should check back frequently to see what we may have added.
When we first opened the store, our designs featured fun slogans such as "Hug Your Mugato," "I'd Rather Be on Vulcan" and "My Folks went to Risa and all I got was this crummy T-Shirt" and others. The second round of shirts featured timely mock campaign logo images such as "Kirk/Spock" and "Picard/Riker."
"I wanted to make something that would be fun to wear, really retro influenced." said Art Director Robert Palacios. "I suppose they are all similar in style to shirts I had as a kid."
Other designs have included "I Love Tribbles," "Anbo-Jytsu State Champs" and "Keep on Trekkin'." All designs are available on Baseball Jerseys, Raglan and Women's Ringer styles, as well as Long Sleeve shirts, Sweatshirts (regular or hooded), mugs, mousepads, and of course on white T-Shirts in all sizes, from infant to adult. Items feature the design on the front and the STARTREK.COM logo on the reverse.
Only a limited quantity of these items are available (and the holidays are just around the corner), so don't miss out! The STARTREK.COM Trading Outpost is hosted by CafePress.com, via the link below.
