Get ready for the next chapter of Star Trek excitement with STARTREK.COM's Star Trek Book Club! On the last Tuesday of every month (the exception being our August chat), gather online in our event chat room with special guests and other fans to discuss Star Trek titles. Our next event is taking place on Tuesday, August 24 at 11:00 a.m. PDT. It's the only official Star Trek Book Club on the Web and it's only at STARTREK.COM.
The Star Trek Book Club provides online chat events with authors, fans and Star Trek celebrities, plus in-depth information about a given month's featured book including how to purchase the book online.
The next Featured Book for The Star Trek Book Club will be "Vulcan's Soul - Book 1: Exodus" by Josepha Sherman and Susan Schwartz, authors of "Vulcan's Forge" and "Vulcan's Heart."
"Vulcan's Soul – Book 1: Exodus" takes place a year after the Dominion War, when the tenuous alliance of the Federation, Klingons and Romulans is tested when the Romulans come under attack from a new enemy, the Watraii. The book features a cast of characters familiar to Star Trek fans (including Spock, Uhura, Chekov and Saavik) and charts the unravelling of the mystery of the Romulans' new enemy, a mystery whose roots stretch back to the days of Surak on Vulcan. The book is the first a new trilogy.

Fans can log in and chat with her about "Exodus," other books in the trilogy and other projects in the works.
