Fans who love testing their Star Trek knowledge (as well as fans looking to sharpen their Trek knowledge for the STARTREK.COM Trivia Challenge at the upcoming Las Vegas Convention) need look no further than "The Definitive Star Trek Trivia Book" by Jill Sherwin.

Packed with questions from the various Star Trek television series and films, the book is great to read through at length or for brief browsing (making it the perfect, er, restroom resource). The book is divided into nine sections; five dealing with series and movies and sections covering more specialized areas of Star Trek expertise such as Starfleet, New Life and Civilizations, Personnel and Abstract Knowledge.

Sherwin has a great ability to come up with trivia questions that go deeper than simple rote memorization. What I enjoy most about this book is that every time I pick it up, by the time I've put it down again there are episodes I want to go back and enjoy all over again.
