Continuing its rollout of Star Trek: Voyager on DVD, Paramount Home Entertainment will release Season 3 of the series on July 6, in a 7-disc box set containing all 26 episodes, plus exclusive bonus features.
Highlights of Voyager's third season include George Takei's return to Star Trek with his guest-starring appearance as Captain Sulu of the U.S.S. Excelsior in "Flashback," the unexpected Ferengi presence in the Delta Quadrant uncovered in "False Profits," a visit to 20th Century Earth in the two-part "Future's End" episodes, the revelation of the true fate of the dinosaurs in "Distant Origin" and the chilling first encounter with Species 8472 and Captain Janeway's fateful decision to attempt an alliance with the Borg in the season finale, "Scorpion, Part I."

All episodes in the box set are presented in full screen format and in Dolby Digital English 5.1 and English Dolby Surround. The box set is not rated in the United States by the Motion Picture Association of America and is rated PG in Canada. Total running time for all seven discs is approximately 19 hours and 46 minutes. The DVDs are sub-titled in English and closed-captioned for the hearing-impaired.
