Star Trek licensee Diamond Select Toys & Collectibles is set to release a new and exclusive "Star Trek Nemesis" Geordi La Forge action figure in time for New York Comic-Con, which runs February 23-25 in Manhattan. La Forge will be available from Diamond Select only during Comic-Con and limited to, you guessed it: 1,701 pieces!

The Geordi figure marks a continuation of the Star Trek: The Next Generation subset and is one of only three remaining figures based on the feature film uniforms. A "First Contact" Data and "Nemesis" Beverly Crusher will complete the series. The La Forge figure is the first TNG convention exclusive done by the toy manufacturer, and features a hand-numbered packaging design with individual numbering on each figure. Sculpted by Art Asylum, La Forge is a 7-inch figure that features 16 points of articulation.

Art Asylum has also been busy sculpting Trek figures for "Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan" in time to celebrate the film's 25th anniversary later this summer. This first wave of six-inch figures will feature Captains Kirk and Terrell, plus the nefarious Khan.
