To celebrate the upcoming release of "
Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country" Special Edition DVD, the film's director and co-screenwriter
Nicholas Meyer will be autographing copies of the DVD next week in California. Meyer will appear in Los Angeles on Tuesday, January 27, at 7:30 p.m. at the Borders Westwood (1360 Westwood Blvd.) and in San Francisco on Saturday, January 31, at 4:00 p.m. at the Borders San Rafael (588 Francisco Blvd, West).
Meyer's other Star Trek credits include "Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan," and he contributed to the screenplay for "Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home." Recently Meyer wrote the screenplay adaptation of Philip Roth's novel "The Human Stain" and is in production as director for the film "Creation."
The "Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country" Special Edition DVD is a two-disc set, with the first disc featuring the film and includes two scene revisions by Meyer, commentary by Meyer and co-screenwriter Denny Martin Flinn. The second disc features interviews, documentaries, tributes, promotional and archival materials and more.
"Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country" Special Edition DVD will be hitting stores on Tuesday, January 27.
