Just in time for the holidays, Pocket Books is set to release a book version of "Ships of the Line," a stunning collection of art that captures beautifully the majesty of Starfleet's finest. The idea of doing a "Ships of the Line" book sprung from the ongoing series of wall calendars produced by Pocket Books over the past few years.
Edited by Margaret Clark and Star Trek: The Next Generation and Deep Space Nine art department veteran Doug Drexler, with accompanying text by Mike Okuda, this new book features page after page of ships, from the early days of space flight, to the sleek design of the future all spread across 175 pages. "Ships of the Line" features digital and traditonal artwork from many familiar names, including Daren Dochterman, Drexler, John Eaves, Gary Hutzel, Mojo, Andrew Probert, Gabriel Koerner, Okuda, and many more.

The book hits the shelves November 7, with a list price of $19.95 U.S. and £12.99 in the U.K.
