On October 2, CBS Home Entertainment and Paramount Home Entertainment are set to release the complete Star Trek: The Next Generation series in one massive DVD set. Adding up to 49 discs the set includes the entire run of 176 episodes, as well as some brand-new special features (see below), all contained in a new collectible box set, along with an exclusive poster.

One of the most successful syndicated shows of all time, TNG also boasts being the most popular of all the Star Trek series. Running for seven years, it easily broke the three-year, 79-episode run of the Original Series, and it had weekly viewing audiences that network shows today would envy.

The suggested retail price will be $440. The special features on this set include the following:
