CBS DVD and Paramount Home Entertainment unleash "Klingon," the last of this year's Star Trek: Fan Collective DVD sets, on August 1. Featuring ten storylines spread out over four discs, this collection contains classics chosen by the fans via STARTREK.COM.
Running in Trek-verse chronological order, as opposed to production order, "Klingon" starts off with the promising "Broken Bow" from Enterprise, and finishes with Star Trek: Voyager's take on the Klingon afterlife "Barge of the Dead." In between are classics such as "Errand of Mercy," which introduced the Klingons, the humorous "The Trouble with Tribbles," and the Deep Space Nine two-parter "The Way of the Warrior."
As the Klingons got progressively more popular, their appearances became more regular. Sadly, the "Klingon" Fan Collective couldn't fit every episode in the canon, so once again the fans became the final arbiters and once again they picked ten stories that make for some intriguing viewing!
