"InAlienable" Premieres, "Of Gods & Men" Soon!

Walter Koenig's feature-length labor of love "InAlienable" will get its online premiere this weekend when it becomes available for download via the Renegade Studios website on Saturday, December 15. The cost will be $2.99 per showing and the movie runs 105 minutes. It is recommended you have a computer with a broadband connection and can handle an HD picture. Any newish Mac or PC should do the trick.

After holding a screening on the Paramount Pictures lot a few weeks back (story here), "InAlienable" will now live primarily as a download, billed as the first full-length sci-fi feature film to premiere on the internet. Featuring a bridge-full of Star Trek stars such as Marina Sirtis, Gary Graham, Alan Ruck, and J.G. Hertzler, "InAlienable" is "a work of love by all that were involved," says actor/writer/director Koenig.

The story centers around a man (Richard Hatch) who finds that his body is host to a parasite from another world. Complicating matters, the parasite carries his DNA which raises myriad questions, including whether this being poses a potential threat to mankind.

For those wishing to hear more about the movie, presumably after they've watched it, they can catch Walter at the Phoenix Comicon, January 25-27, 2008.

Wait No More for "Of Gods and Men" is Soon at Hand!

While we're on the subject, the long-awaited independent online feature "Star Trek: Of Gods and Men" will debut on December 22, the weekend after "InAlienable." Part I of this feature will be available at the cleverly appointed time of 17:01 Eastern time (to civilians like us, that's 5:01 p.m.). Director Tim Russ will also be in attendance at the Phoenix Comicon talking about this feature.

"Of Gods and Men" has been in production for over a year and also features several Star Trek alumni, including Russ, Cirroc Lofton, Koenig, Nichelle Nichols, Garrett Wang, and many more.
