Eugene "Rod" Roddenberry, the son of Star Trek creator Gene Roddenberry, is scheduled to spend much of Wednesday, November 7 talking to the press about the screening of the remastered episode "The Menagerie" next week. This amazing event, which you can read about here, is a first for Star Trek in that it is the only time an episode of the Original Series has been screened around the world in theatres.

Overall, Roddenberry is a big fan of the remastered series, as he told STARTREK.COM on Monday when he dropped by our office for a chat.

"It all looks great," said Rod about the remastered versions. "As long as they don't change the intent of the scene, or put in stuff that wasn't supposed to be there, I'm good."
