Last night, Patrick Stewart shared the stage with "Star Trek Generations" villain Malcolm McDowell and astronaut Buzz Aldrin at the opening ceremonies of the Jules Verne Adventure Film Festival, held at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles.

At left we have posted a brief "teaser" video from last night's proceedings. We will bring you more footage next week, from both the Thursday opening ceremony as well as Sunday's awards night where Stewart will present William Shatner with the Jules Verne Lifetime Achievement Award.
