This President served as head of the United Federation of Planets, based in the city of Paris, France, on Earth.
In 2293, at the Khitomer conference, the Federation President was the target of an assasination attempt by Colonel West and other conspirators. The assassination, and the conspiracy which it manifested from, intended to disrupt peaceful overtures between the Klingon Empire and the Federation.
