Creation Entertainment journeys to London in the New Year with special guest
Patrick Stewart ("
Jean-Luc Picard") headlining the show. Billed as "The London Star Trek Convention 2007," the event takes place on the weekend of January 5-7 at the Hilton Metropole Hotel on Edgware Road. This convention, their largest to date in Europe, will feature appearances from at least one actor from each incarnation of
Star Trek.
Guests include: Walter Koenig ("Pavel Chekov"), Connor Trinneer ("Trip Tucker"), Dominic Keating ("Malcolm Reed"), Colm Meaney ("Miles O'Brien"), Marc Alaimo ("Gul Dukat"), Alexander Siddig ("Dr. Julian Bashir"), Suzie Plakson ("K'Ehleyr"), Bobby Clark (the man in the Gorn suit, among other TOS appearances) and Sean Kenney (the deformed "Captain Pike" in "The Menagerie"), along with Richard Arnold, former assistant to Gene Roddenberry. (There will be other guests added to the bill and we will add them to this list when we they are confirmed.)
"We think we've put together the best line-up of Star Trek stars ever seen at a convention outside of the United States," says Creation organizer Gary Berman. "After the major success of the 40th Anniversary Star Trek Convention in Las Vegas we received quite a lot of e-mails from fans in Europe asking us to consider doing an official event there to celebrate this amazing milestone. Once Patrick signed aboard we knew we had something truly special to offer, and as a Star Trek licensee it is important to us that fans overseas have access to all the cool Star Trek merchandise we've been able to create over the years.
"We've purposefully priced tickets at various levels so everyone can attend. In fact for under £20 a day fans can see everything!"
It's only five weeks away, so make plans now. See you in merry ol' England!
