Armin Shimerman ("Quark") has been busy of late. Having played King Claudius in a recent production of "Hamlet" for the Los Angeles-based Uprising Theatre Company, he has turned his hand to directing a new production of "Macbeth," or the Scottish play for the more superstitious types. Armin's wife, Kitty Swink, will be appearing in the play.

Uprising's production will run for five performances a week, from January 6 to the 29th.

As an added bonus, each ticket you purchase for "Macbeth" gives you free admission to one of several Shakespeare Workshops (conducted by Shimerman) scheduled at the Court Theatre during the run of the play.
