Along with a number of other distinguished film and television Directors, LeVar Burton ("Geordi La Forge") has been elected to serve as a Representative to the Directors Council for the Directors Guild of America's Western section. Along with his Star Trek acting chores, La Forge has directed numerous Star Trek episodes, beginning with the Sixth Season TNG episode "Second Chances" and continuing through numerous episodes of DS9, Voyager and Enterprise, the most recent being last season's acclaimed episode "Similitude."

Stewart's Voice Heard Far and Wide

While he hasn't sat in the Captain's chair since "Star Trek Nemesis," the familiar, articulate voice of Patrick Stewart ("Jean-Luc Picard") seems to be everywhere these days. He's recently done voice-overs for British Airways, Myers Rum, Goodyear, Crestor (a prescription medicine for treating high cholesterol) and as the Magic Mirror in the Southern California Disneyland stage production of "Snow White – An Enchanting New Musical."

Star Trek Alums in "Spider-Man 2"

Eagle-eyed Star Trek fans will spot several alums on the big screen in "Spider-Man 2" as the summer blockbuster hits theatres today. Along with leading lady Kirsten Dunst (Hedril in the TNG episode "Dark Page"), there's Donna Murphy (Anij in "Star Trek: Insurrection"), Daniel Dae Kim (Corporal Chang of the MACOs on Enterprise), Kelly Connell (Sklar in the Voyager episode "Rise") and Jill Sayre (Mardah in the DS9 episode "The Abandoned").
