Stewart's House on the Market
Fans looking to take over the house that once belonged to a Star Trek captain should be ready to dig deep. Patrick Stewart (Captain Jean-Luc Picard) has listed his Pacific Palisades home for $6.4 million. Originally built in the 1950s, Stewart purchased the house in 1997 and is looking to move on.
The 6,900-square-foot renovated home features five bedrooms and bathrooms, four fireplaces, den, family room, library, office, gym and a sunroom. The half-acre grounds of the gated estate also features mountain views, a pool and gardens. (So ... any takers?)
Stewart also owns a 315-year-old farmhouse in the north of his native England and is expected to be conferred in November as Chancellor of Huddersfield University in Yorkshire.
