An additional day of fun and excitement is on the cards this year at Creation Entertainment's third annual Official Star Trek Las Vegas Convention, running for four days from Thursday, July 29, through Sunday, August 1. (Tickets can be purchased via Creation Entertainment's link below.)

Many of your favorite stars will be there: William Shatner, Leonard Nimoy, Kate Mulgrew, Brent Spiner, Walter Koenig, George Takei, Colm Meaney, Marina Sirtis, Tim Russ, Roxann Dawson, Ethan Phillips, Nana Visitor, Linda Park, Anthony Mongtomery, Wil Wheaton, Cirroc Lofton, Vaughn Armstrong, Jeffrey Combs, Sally Kellerman, Alice Krige, and Majel Barrett Roddenberry are amongst the numerous special guests currently scheduled to attend this year with more to be announced. The Las Vegas Convention, if we may editorialize a bit here, is tremendous fun. First, it's in Vegas and further explanation is unneccessary. Second, it's about as big as an American convention gets in terms of guests, dealers and activities. Third, it's a great way to meet up with friends and fans from around the country who make the journey to the torrid climes of Vegas. And fourth, the new Las Vegas monorail will be in operation, which will be able to deposit you safely at other destinations in the city.
