According to Scottish poet Robert Burns, the best laid plans of mice and men often go askew. Or something like that. In the case of "Star Trek: Of Gods and Men," the best laid plans just get a bit delayed. The all-new,
Star Trek star-studded "webisode" will arrive soon, just not as soon as the producers had anticipated. In the meantime, the website for "
Star Trek: Of Gods and Men" has been revamped and updated, including a three-minute clip of the opening scene that features just one of many familiar Trek faces to be seen throughout the film. The website will also have release news, updates, images and more.
So much has been written about this internet-only feature-length project that it would be hard to avoid its news. "Of Gods and Men" has been featured in the Star Trek Magazine and talked about at conventions for the last year now. With participation from cast and crew from various Trek shows, it's not hard to see why it gets so much attention. The stellar cast features Tim Russ (star and director), Walter Koenig, Nichelle Nichols, Garrett Wang, Alan Ruck, Gary Graham, Chase Masterson, Grace Lee Whitney, Crystal Allen and many more. Behind the scenes also features former Trek veterans; director of photography for the project was Doug Knapp, who worked on Star Trek: Voyager and Enterprise.
