Back in January we told you about some changes coming to the Community section of the site. Thank you for your patience as we near completion of the new Message Boards, Fan Reviews, Chat, and Fan Profiles. The status of each of these features is listed below.

Message Boards
The popular Message Boards have been upgraded with new features, including improved sorting, user icons, and more. We will now be able to provide special Message Boards for current events, such as the upcoming launch of "Borg Invasion 4D" in Las Vegas. The new Message Board functionality is now available at the Message Board page.

Chat
Our Chat functionality has changed considerably. We will now focus primarily on event chats such as the Scott Bakula series of live chats and the Star Trek Book Club events. The new event chat format became available on January 27, with the Book Club event featuring author Keith R.A. DeCandido discussing "IKS Gorkon: A Good Day to Die" with the club members. We've also recently hosted live chat events with Dominic Keating and Connor Trinneer. Click here for transcripts of all our past chat events.

For those looking for sims, STARTREK.COM has an arrangement with the Star Trek™ Simulation Forum, a group that operates simulation games in live chat rooms. Visit them at www.stsf.net for more information.

Fan Profiles
All of your existing profile information is present in the new system. You can access your personal Fan Profile information through the Message Boards.

Fan Reviews
Now available! Read the reviews of other fans on every Episode or Movie synopsis page. Log in and write a review of your own.
